My favorite book would have to be "Shogun" by James Clavell. It's a novel of Japan.

A bold English adventurer. An invincible Japanese Warlord. A beautiful woman torn between two ways of life, two ways of love. All brought together in a mighty saga of a time and place aflame with conflict, passion, ambition, lust, and the struggle for power-

^ That's pretty much the description. lol
It's an awesome book. Still reading it, cuz it's mad thick. xD

My favorite book has to be Invisible by Pete Hautman.

It's about this kid struggling with abunch of crazy Sh*t, so it's good Sh*t.

It's a really short book and ive read it about 7-10 times.

I'm not into over-descriptive, and usually old books. I'm a fan of Cherub and Percy Jackson, the good ol' teen books hurr

Classic Lit. is pretty cool.
I'm more into like, Fantasies and non-fictional books. Anything out of that seems boring to me. lol

It might sound lame but I am super ultra fan of Harry Potter.
I read the whole set like 5 times now.(nothing really to show off.)
But actually it is quite interesting to pick up little bits of information I didn't know before (is it just me?).

I also like criminal, suspension,fantasy,Sci-fi,romance,adventure,comedy.......Everything!
......Except old stuff.

William Wordsworth , yes its poetry but its literature so it still counts
but to be on the safe side if this post is marked as spam
i will go with some old old old books don't i really don't remember what their names were
but i will just say its has something to do with Magic the Gathering and has a main character
called Kian or something like that
well he is a some barbarian from the northlands with uber luber powers
plus he can use some magic even though his kind aren't supposed to be magic kin
his magic is like this when he is anger he can makes flying swords of fire and brim
and can pwn armies of demons at tier 3 scale
anyways he gets into this quest to get some orb of power
and prevent some aquatic guild of aquatic fishfolk with uber god like magic kissing ass powers
from taking over the gladiator arena and thereby taking over the world
even though his enemy can do basically anything since his fighting like
an entire continent of continents of fish people/races
but in reality most their people don't know sh1t about whats really going on
in reality just their ambassador knows about all of this
and he is the one really after the orb of power
which when he possesses he plans on taking over the whole mutli-verse with it
so our barbian goes tumult and danger ebbing his lifeblood in arena battles
til in some final ass boss battle he fights the aquatic ambassador/evil villain
in some fluke by accidently hitting the scroll glpyh that holds the tier 5 uber spell
he was summoning to absorb the orb of powers power and welll....
instead he absorbs to much of it and dies because of that
so our hero to prevent this from happening again destroys the orb by
shattering it to mutliply pieces which really doesn't do sh1t cuz they end up having another
whole book devoting to some werid cult trying to collect the orb of powers fragments

Kian becomes druid/god/deity of life/nature/god/druid
now he is like uber omg i can bring ppl back to life andt control basically all of nature
omg he can bring ppl back to life
omg he can control evolution
omg did he just make entire animal/plant kingdoms mutate/evolve to
... super animels/plants?
omg he can control CANCER
omg did he just p1ss of the first?
omg his sister/girlfriend/sister/cousin/incest tub is killed by Fantasy TROLLS
omg the first turns her into his assistant/sexslave/inheritor
omg Kian declares war using the pretext of environmentalism!
omg all the hippies have joined him
